Action was the game. Fishing.

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

P1010007This weekend was an interesting week as we got into tons of action but only smaller sized fish. The keepers were coming in right at 28-31 inches. I saw everyone searching for bigger fish, but it seems like the harbor has a lot of spawning females feeding in the area. Some spots had our customers on their toes. Everyone onboard fishes with a rod in their hand hooking up. Big thumbs up to this crew for working hard in rough seas to land some nice fish.

Kids fishing Boston

C.J. Victoria was in full swing this week just after the Northeast storm passed.  The bite is on big time as we have had plenty of action.  Every trip had a lot of keepers, but they all seem to be 28″-30″ in size.
Today was a young angler day.  Jack and Tom fished very well catching a dozen bass or more between them.  The kids had the rods in there hands landing fish all on their own. Nice job!  Jack did land a nice 36″ Striped Bass and released it to fight another day.
The bite looks good for the weekend and we have some time open.  So give me a call for some great action. 617-283-5801 Rob

C.J. Victoria….fishing at it’s finest

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

Today was a great day with the morning trip (top photo) and the afternoon trip getting into great Striped Bass.  The action started a bit slow with the fish being finicky, but the crew got into the action with plenty of hook ups for each group.  There was a mix of Striped Bass and Bluefish for the morning trip.  The afternoon was all Bass.  Great day with great people onboard.  If you want a more detailed fishing report you can call,  email or look me up on http://www.facebook.com/rsavinocollage

Busy week and weekend fishing

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

bostonharborbassLast week and weekend was a very busy week fishing everyday.  Customers are getting their fix of Striped Bass fishing and Cod and Haddock fishing.

Inshore the bass were being a bit finickey as they were hitting the baits and spitting them out before the hook was set.  That didn’t stop the customers from fishing hard. Persistence was the name of the  game.  Stick with fishing hard and the fish will come.  Everyone onboard will always fish as much as they like, as hard as they like.
Offshore:  The trip was a good trip, but the very high tides had a fast current and a though drift.  Add in the massive amounts of Dog fish (sand sharks), the word challenging is an understatement.  The crew on C.J. Victoria worked hard and got the customers into schools of  Haddock and Cod for their coolers.
Look me up on facebook or call me for more detailed information.

A nice Striped Bass from Boston

John’s second fish of the day landed him in the big fish of the trip category. Nice fish a 38″ Striped Bass. Today was a great day, but we had to fish hard for the fish. Look me up at facebook and see a more detailed reports. We did see our first Bluefish during this trip. You have to get into this action as the fishing is very good. Rob

Fishing with Bruin Aaron Ward

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

p1010003Today we fish with Boston Bruins Aaron Ward and Strength coach John Whitesides. The fishing was great with about a dozen or more fish landed. The best part…the fish live to fight another day as we released every fish we caught. Great day
