This past week we had a bunch of trips ranging from inshore Striped Bass to offshore cod and haddock and finally Giant Bluefin Tuna. The action was good in the mornings for Striped Bass last week. The afternoon trips were more of a hit and miss with the hot sun heating up the waters. The bluefish are in a little bit more, so we have the option of targeting them in the afternoons. Offshore had plenty of action. We got into Plenty of Cod and Haddock as well as Red fish and Cusk. This trip took us offshore to Stellwagen Bank where the action was hot. Sunday was the cream of the fishing crop. Our charter onboard got lucky by hooking into a Giant Bluefin tuna. The tuna action was happening all around us until finally we went off. It was a quick battle that yielded a 84″ long light weight 250 lb tuna. Fishing for Giant Tuna is fishing for a fish of a life time. These guys got it done.
