This is a video shows some of the people fishing with C.J. Victoria. Get in to the action this season. The boat is going in the water and will be ready for April 16th season open. We start cod fishing on Stellwagen Bank then the switch to Flounder and Striped bass in Boston Harbor and Quincy Bay.

C.J. Victoria had a great day today. Finally the weather came our way and what a day. This morning started off with a great incoming tide catch of a Striped Bass and Bluefish keepers. I lost count of the amount of fish we caught in 4 hours.
This the second trip (photo). The second trip started slow, but soon everyone onboard started getting the fishing technique and pow! The fish came on and in a big way. A good catch of Striped Bass with a handful of Bluefish. The big fish weighted 35lbs and 45″ NOW! is the time to fish for nice Striped Bass. Book now as my schedule is getting tight.

For those of you who would like to get into the BIG game action, Bluefin tuna is your answer. We have been running tuna charters and have been doing well. Here is another 250 pound fish. Great time had by all on this trip.
Customers ask me when is the best time to go fishing, well now is a good time for Tuna. The chances of hooking up with a big fish is very good. We lost a giant earlier on this trip.

We head out yesterday with a trip for tuna. The seas were beautiful for boating but not for fishing as it was a bit calm. That didn’t stop the crew from hooking up. The action really turned on. Get into this while the get’in is good. Almost a giant 5″ short. What a trill for the passengers on board.
We will be running tuna trips for the rest of the summer and fall, hope to see you then.

Fished this weekend hard. We went to 13 different spots, shallow and deep water. The fishing was great, but the catching was another story. We used live and chunk bait which proved to be futile. We were seeing fish in the deep water, but couldn’t get them to take the live baits. For some reason Boston harbor is in a bit of a slow down. We will keep at it and always fish hard. Difficult fishing makes for a very enjoyable reward when catching.
Everyone onboard has rods in their hands, waiting for the reel to sing.
I do see small schools of surface action. The chatter on the radio was much of the same as you read here. Boats constantly on the move looking for fish. We are fishing day time hours. The bite is very early morning. No Bluefish.

We are running offshore for Tuna to Stellwagen Bank. The bite for fish has been on with some giants being taken. When we arrived there was a lot of life on the bank. Lots of big Striped Bass, feeding on sand eels. Bluefish were also in the mix. The tuna were elusive as we only saw one busting the surface. Tuna trips are a big game sport fishing trip. Hooking one of these fish could mean the fight of a life time.

I didn’t fish over the weekend, but reports are “the harbor seems to continue to be in a bit of a slow down.” “Fishing is tough.” Schoolies are feeding on the surface, but fishing for big fish is tough.
Fished Yesterday:
Yesterday was the first day that I spotted some big fish breaking the surface…could be the start of something good.
Everyone was great and fishing hard, but the bite was still slow. Small fish. Check me out of Facebook to get more information.

The past few days we have been working hard to keep the customers on the fish. Each trip has action and keepers for the grill, but we earned every fish that was caught. Today was better than lately with some nice strong fighting fish, but I would still call the action slow and steady. No really big stuff but we got keepers. The bite that we had from last week has slowed down.
Some feeding has been going on with schools of fish with surface action. The surface action was there one second then gone the next. We will be watching this.
We had some nice flounder on a morning trip. Not crazy action, but steady. I do see the flounder season end insight.

Boston harbor is the best location for Winter Flounder. We fished today and limited out for everyone. Flounder fishing is a fantastic fishery that shouldn’t be missed. This is great for kids as well as adults. Get into this action while the fishing is good. Flounder fishing is an inshore bottom fishery. Usually the sea conditions are calm which makes for a very comfortable day. If you would like more detailed information you can give me a call.
